During his annual fan club party at CMA Fest this weekend, Eric Church gave fans a taste of his new music.
With just an acoustic guitar, the "Record Year" singer crooned his heartfelt tune about trying to find the good in the world, no matter what.
"Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, I did what you're teaching," Church sings. "But if the world thinks when I turn the other cheek, that it's a sign of weakness, then you ain't gonna like what you see from Old Testament me."

Just hours after he shared this new track, Church took the stage at Nashville's Nissan Stadium to perform for over 60,000 festival-goers. During his set, he opted to skip the new tunes and kept to the hits.
