One of the most powerful moments of the 2018 Grammy Awards came from Eric Church, Brothers Osborne and Maren Morris. Their musical tribute to those killed in the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting and the Manchester Arena attack was poignant and incredibly important.

In those two attacks, 81 people were murdered while simply trying to enjoy live music. Surrounded by lit illustrations that read the names of each victim, the country stars performed a moving rendition of Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven."

Although sound issues plagued the artist's introduction, the performance itself was simple but emotional. Morris, Church and Brothers Osborne all played the Route 91 Harvest Festival last year, where 58 lives were taken from gun violence.

Donations for victims of the Route 91 shooting are still needed and are being collected, but only for a short time. You can find more information on how to help here.
