Watch Eric Church Join Bruce Springsteen for Acoustic 'Working on the Highway'

On Nov. 5, during a performance at Madison Square Garden, Eric Church joined Bruce Springsteen for a stripped down, acoustic version of Springsteen's "Working on the Highway."

The collaboration took place during Springsteen's set at the annual Stand Up for Heroes concert, which benefits wounded U.S. veterans and their families. The two men took turns on the verses, delivering an even more countrified version of the rootsy Springsteen song. "Working on the Highway" was first recorded on Springsteen's 1984 album Born in the USA.

Church has long discussed his admiration for The Boss, who he famously celebrated in his 2011 smash "Springsteen."

The country star released his latest album Desperate Man on Oct. 3. In July, Church released the album's debut single and title track, which features Texas music icon Ray Wylie Hubbard.
