Jake Worthington is a country music singer from La Porte, Texas, and a finalist on season 6 of The Voice.
Of all the country singers that have been on The Voice, Worthington stands out as one of the best. At just 17 years old, Worthington entered the competition. He quickly won over country fans nationwide with a traditionally-focused voice that sounds well beyond his years. After finishing second place, the show has helped him launch a budding career recording and performing country music.
Worthington dropped by the studio on his 21st birthday to talk with me about what he's up to these days. We chatted about his upcoming EP, what it was like being on the show and his plans for the future. He is without a doubt one of the most down to earth and humble guests I've had on the show. Look for his singles "A Lot of Room To Talk" and "How Do You Honky Tonk" on iTunes and wherever you buy digital music.
