Cops arrived at Smith's residence around 4:40 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the Davie Police Department.

By the time officers arrived, Kristen was already blasting Smith in a video posted on social media.

In the footage, the woman could be seen filming Smith outside of his Davie home while screaming, "Geno just beat my ass!"

"Today is the DAY!" Kristen wrote in a caption on the video. "GENO SMITH beat my ass cause he HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can't be left alone with him. Because he'd rather watch s*x online and play Call of Duty."

The enraged woman is believed to have been romantically involved with Smith. During her rant on social media, she also included a photo of Smith appearing to talk with three police officers. She captioned that clip with the words, "Charges. PRESSED!"

Geno Smith Was Not Arrested Amid Assault Allegations

On Monday morning, Andy Slater of Fox Sports South Florida shared an update on the situation via X.

"New York Jets QB Geno Smith was being investigated for alleged battery on Sunday. But I am told the case is no longer open," Slater wrote. "Cops went to Smith's house after being called. Checked everything out, and left with no one being taken into custody."

Amid the damning allegations in the now viral video, the mother of Smith's son, Seven, defended the former Pro Bowl quarterback.

"Geno is and always has been more than capable of taking care of his son," the woman wrote on her Instagram Stories, featuring an image that showed Smith with the child.

"Let's kill that narrative. Don't get on the internet bringing my son into your web of dysfunction."

Smith is currently in his second stint with the New York Jets. The former second-round pick projects to be the team's starting quarterback this season.
