Elon Musk is not everyone's favorite billionaire at the moment. Amid his controversial venture into politics, he has made a few enemies, and people are kicking him where it hurts: Right in his Tesla.

Tesla has been hammered recently in response to Elon Musk's controversial appearance alongside Trump as the puppet master behind DOGE. Not only has its stock plummeted 25% in the last month, but attacks on its cars and stations have also been carried out.
Musk himself has proven very controversial.
The billionaire, throwing out very questionable salutes, has tanked his Tesla sales globally. In Germany, sales of Tesla EVs decreased by 60% in January (via CBS) and a further 79% in February. But, it isn't just the country that made the salute famous that is refusing to buy the brand. China and Australia have seen a fall in sales of 49% and 79%, respectively.
Along with the declining sales comes a series of attacks on both the vehicles and charging stations. In Massachusetts, a Tesla charging station was set alight. California also saw a Tesla charging station vandalised with a certain notable symbol scrawled across the charging points. Cars and dealerships are also being destroyed.
Musk Thanks His Remaining Fans
But there are still people flying the Tesla flag for Musk and Tesla. Musk has taken to his social media soapbox to thank them for their unwavering worship amid a sea of disapproval from the opposition.
"Heartfelt thanks to everyone supporting Tesla despite many attacks against our stores and offices," he posted to X. He shared a video of a Tesla fanboy showing the self-driving capabilities of the Cybertruck. According to the original post, they had bought it in support of Musk.
It may all be too little too late for the failing EV company, though. Their stock has seen a catastrophic decline over the past two months, with several countries turning their backs on the business Elon bought.
