During a concert on Saturday, October 10, Langley addressed the crowd. She explained the thinking behind her decision to cancel her scheduled show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

"When it comes to keeping you safe and making sure that this show is a safe place for us to come and enjoy our music, then it will happen," Langley said in a video that has since been shared online. "But the second it feels like it will not, I'm not doing it."

Langley continued, saying she would make the same decision again based on the information she had available at the time.

"I would have made yesterday's decision 10 billion times over. And I'd do it tomorrow. I'd do it the next day. Because, while I'm grateful to get to do what I do, it's not the most important thing in this life," Langley detailed. "The most important thing in this life is the people around you who love you. And are there for you no matter what. The most important thing in this life is making sure you wake up every day and feel like, 'You know what? I'm good today, and I'm so grateful to have woken up today.'"

A False Bomb Threat Led Ella Langley To Cancel Her Show in Tulsa

Langley's October 9 show in Tulsa was reportedly canceled after a false bomb threat, per the Tulsa Police Department.

"As with any large event, the Tulsa Police Department goes to great lengths to ensure that it is safe for eventgoers and those coming to perform," the

Tulsa Police Department said in a statement. "Before the event, we swept the area with our K-9, Bomb Team, Patrol, and BOK security for anything dangerous. We did not find anything."

A bomb threat must be taken seriously, whether it's believed to be a hoax or not. Langley made a decision based on her safety and the safety of the thousands who were due to attend. While it's understandable that people were frustrated with the decision, there's no doubt it was the right choice.

Hopefully, Langley can circle back to Tulsa in the near future. At least that way, she can put on a show for the fans left disappointed by the turn of events on October 9.
