Ella Langley has had a pretty darn crazy time recently. It was only a few weeks ago that she dethroned Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" as the artist with the longest consecutive No. 1. Her track "Choosin' Texas" is still sitting at No. 6 on the charts, too, meaning its generational run isn't over yet.
But Langley has added yet another record to her belt, per Billboard. She has received yet another No. 1 song on their Country Airplay chart with "Loving Life Again". The song, which she co-wrote alongside ERNEST and Devin Dawson, is up 7% from last week's numbers, securing its spot.
And that song is her sixth No. 1, making her the fastest woman to do so. As the outlet puts it, "Among women, or acts with a woman vocalist, Langley has gone from one No. 1 to six the fastest in the chart's 36-year history." It took her only 99 weeks from her first No. 1 song to get her sixth.
She sits among legends with this record - with acts like Lady A and Carrie Underwood being just a little underneath her. And she's overall the third quickest in country music history too, only being beaten out by Jelly Roll (96 weeks) and Alan Jackson (94 weeks).

Ella Langley Had Celebrated Her Original Big Record-Breaking Achievement
As we reported on it when it happened, Ella Langley was delighted to see her dethrone Mariah Carey when that originally happened. She had taken to social media to thank everyone involved in helping her get there.
"I'm genuinely trying to find the words to help explain what's going on in my brain today," she explained when she broke the record in late September. "Thank you so much. Thank you for loving this song, for listening to it."
"I don't even know what to say at this point. I'm running out of hyperboles to describe how I feel," she explained, panning to her dog. "So I will just let my dog in the background show you his excitement."
She added that she was equally grateful for how people have changed the lives of the song's writers, too. "It's changing my life; it's changing the lives of the writers of this song."
We're so glad country music is getting the representation it deserves. Isn't Ella Langley doing a great job?
