It seems like the third time really is a charm. At least, that would seem to be the case for Billy Ray Cyrus, who's going 6 months strong with actress Elizabeth Hurley. Elizabeth reached out to Cyrus in 2024, who was in need of emotional support after his divorce from his second wife, Firerose. Billy Ray's first marriage was to Trish Cyrus, which lasted 30 years, until their divorce in April 2022.

Billy Ray's friendship with Hurley would eventually blossom into a relationship, and the pair would "hard-launch" at an exhibition in Rome, Italy, in May. Before long, the couple was talking about "blending families" and meeting each other's children. Elizabeth Hurley's son, Damien, even talked about his thoughts on the relationship after the couple appeared at the 2025 CMAs.
The model and 23-year-old son of The Royals actress had a few things to say regarding recent rumors. Many media outlets have claimed that Hurley's relationship with Cyrus was keeping her away from her children, but Damien wasted no time shutting down the talk.
"I've been in the public eye since the day I was born and rarely comment on anything written about me or family, but recent stories are so startlingly untrue that I want to offer a little clarity," he said in an Instagram story. "For the record: I adore Billy Ray Cyrus and think he's one of the sweetest men I've ever met," he continued. "I love seeing my mom so happy. Billy's kids are also adorable, and everyone gets along beautifully; any claims to the contrary are yawn-inducing and tediously untrue."
Billy Ray reposted Damien's story on his own Instagram with a "Love you D Man" and a red heart emoji.

What does the "Flowers" singer think about her dad's relationship with Hurley? Apparently, it's all good things. Miley Cyrus expressed gratitude for her mom and dad finally "finding happiness" in an interview with Good Morning America.
The Grammy winner shared, "I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing. I'm being an adult about it... now that my dad, I see him finding happiness, too—I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing."
Cyrus has been known to have a complex relationship with her father, notably taking Trish's side in their public divorce. But lately, it seems like they're putting the family drama behind them, and his new relationship with Hurley might have a little something to do with that.
"My dad and I have had our challenges over the years," she wrote in a statement on Instagram. "Now, in my thirties, family is my priority above all else. I'm at peace knowing bridges have been built and time has done a lot of healing. Grateful for the good health and love that flows through my family."
