Eli Young Band's Tour Bus Erupts in Flames

Eli Young Band survived a scary situation when their bus caught on fire last night (Jan. 17) outside of Topeka, Kan.

The four-man band filled their fans in by sharing a shocking video of the event on Facebook. In it, their tour bus's back engine is shown completely engulfed in flames. The scary visual is mostly dark aside from the hot flames rising from the back as one of the band's members narrates. It's truly terrifying.

"The bus just caught fire in the back of the engine everyone," he says in disbelief. "Just to let everybody know, it's going to burn to the ground." He also apologizes in the video and says a few inaudible words, clearly shaken up by what was happening.

The band captioned the video with some good news — and some not so good news. Everyone made it out safely, including their tour bus driver, Randy. Unfortunately, they lost everything else.

"We've lost more than a bus here. There are memories and possessions that we can't replace! It's really sad to see her go," the caption reads.

This is not a great start to the new year but, with everyone safe, they will be able to continue their current tour. The band has a couple of days off before they play their next show in Mahnomen, Minn. After that, Eli Young Band's schedule stays pretty busy through July when they play the Big Sky Country State Fair in Bozeman, Mont. Fans can purchase tickets and check tour dates via their official website.

If you can't see them on tour, you can get your Eli Young Band fix with their latest single, "Saltwater Gospel." It may be winter now, but the track's scenic music video will take you back to the warm days of summer.
