Ed Sheeran Responds to His Cousin's Fiery Rant
"You might have seen [my relative] recently on social media," the star said to the audience, without mentioning Jethro by name (via Page Six).
Sheeran also added that he and Jethro have not been in contact for "a very long time."
The feud between Sheeran and his cousin came as a result of the fallout from the Macklemore drama.
To bring things up to speed, Macklemore made comments in support of Palestine. This happened when the tour hit New Jersey's MetLife Stadium in September. His comments led to him ultimately being axed from the tour. Jethro says that the move is just further proof that Sheeran is not the person he portrays himself as.
"He's shady, and he's dropped Macklemore himself. I believe 100% he's a coward," Jethro wrote in a post obtained by AllHip Hop. "In my opinion, he's a bad human. Just my opinion from my experiences."
Jethro also said that Sheeran is "not a good person," and said that it's about time that fans recognized his true colors.
In addition, he accused the star of sabotaging his career. By having all of his songs removed from streaming.
"He's honestly a selfish individual with malicious, cunning ways. He kills you with kindness (His Words). I'm his first blood cousin, and he screwed me over, made fun of my mental health and mental health in general," the post adds. "He stopped me from feeding my daughter by taking down all my songs, and my lawyer showed me proof from Warner that it was all him! Ed Sheeran!"
At the time of writing, Jethro has not responded to Ed's comments.
