Eagles Sell Dirty Snow After NFL Game And Sold Out

Well, I really have seen it all. I have to give it to Eagles fans, no one matches their passion and dedication for their team. While I will never understand the death grip hold that sports has over some people, I can respect their enthusiasm. Recently, Eagles fans got a chance to connect with their favorite team in a new and unique way. The Eagles decided to sell dirty snow after their NFL Game and unsurprisingly, it sold out.

I can't deny, the Eagles don't miss any opportunity do they? After celebrating their win after the Rams at Lincoln Financial Field, they just wanted to keep the good times rolling. And who better to celebrate with then their fans who always support them?

According to the NY Post, "The team sold 100 pints of snow from Sunday's game for $50 each." If you thought that they would have trouble with their new endeavor, think again. The pints sold out within two hours. Perhaps that was due to their well written sales pitch. After all, it is not every day the Eagles sell dirty snow after an NFL game, they had to make it unique.

They wrote the following on their sales page.

"To commemorate this incredible achievement, authenticated snow was collected directly from the end zone at Lincoln Financial Field immediately after the game. This isn't your typical piece of memorabilia—it's a tangible, frozen snapshot of the grit, passion, and determination that defined the iconic game. By preserving and authenticating the very snow that surrounded this monumental game, fans are offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect with the playoff experience like never before."

Snow Sells Out, What Comes Next?

100 lucky fans got their special dirty snow shipped to them using dry ice. My question is, what do you do with it once you get it? Does this dirty snow just live in your freezer forever? While the Eagles made the choice to sell dirty snow from their NFL game, not everyone understood the motive behind it.

Eagles cornerback, Darius Slay thought it was slightly crazy that someone would purchase snow. The NY Post shares he stated, "That's crazy. So somebody is going to really buy snow?" However, while he may not understand it, he respects and loves the dedication of his fans.

He shared, "People bought snow? That's why this is the best city, man. They passionate around here. We buying snow. I love it."
