The post-game celebrations in Philadelphia get way out of hand after the Eagles Commanders game. Multiple people have been shot, someone was stabbed, and many have been arrested in the aftermath of the win.

However, the tragic death of this young Eagles fan death is his fault. As many people do, he climbed a light pole after the game. From there he was able to see the excited crowds and shout his praises for his team.

However, it all went wrong when he took a fall from high above the concrete. He fell badly, landing on his head and causing significant damage to his skull. He was quickly transported through the crowds of Eagles fans to Jefferson Hospital, where he was placed on life support. Only a few days later the 18-year-old Eagles fan was pronounced dead.

A statement from Temple President John Fry says, "The loss of a promising 18-year-old man like Tyler is both tragic and traumatic. There are no words that can make sense of it, and the entire Temple community mourns his passing. Our hearts go out to Tyler's family, friends, classmates, and all who knew and loved him"

Wild Scenes After Eagles Win In Phillidelphia

The young Eagles fan who died of brain injuries was one of many casualties during the celebrations. At least two people were shot during the post-game riots, with a third being currently investigated. There was also a stabbing reported in the 3600 block of S. 11th Street.

People are also being treated for injuries after a car plowed into a crowd after the game. None of the injuries to the Eagles revelers has been considered life-threatening. However, the driver is being charged with Aggravated Assault, Driving without a License, Simple Assault, Reckless Driving, and related offenses.

The scenes post-game are way out of hand, with police unable to prevent the various crimes being committed. However, Philadelphia is known for being a violent city. In 2023 there were 1,291 nonfatal and 375 fatal shooting victims. So, really, to only have three shootings in an evening is below the average.

Although the young Eagles fan's death after falling from the pole is unusual, the rest of it is pretty on-brand for the city. It's a crazy time to be a US citizen.
