One Dutton Ranch star is not a happy camper. Ed Harris did not mince his words when it came to his thoughts on season 1.

Harris has had a long and storied career in Hollywood. So he's in a position where he doesn't have to watch his words. Still, it was shocking to hear that Harris told his team to "get me the f--k out of here" during Season 1.
That happened half-way through filming the first season of the Beth and Rip-led spin-off.
"Prior to signing on for it, I was talked to quite a bit about what the season was, and what my character was going to do — and that I was one of the four main characters," Harris said. "And that wasn't really the case."
'Dutton Ranch' Star Felt Misled
Harris said that he felt like he wasn't used well on the set of Dutton Ranch.
"I said, 'I'm feeling underused and inconsequential,' and they kind of went, 'Oh,'" Harris added. "I'm being told my character will have a little bit more to do [in Season 2]. I was just a little frustrated, to tell you the truth."
However, the actor noted that watching the show showed him that his character was "relatively important to the story." But it didn't feel that way when he was filming the show. He also noted that Dutton Ranch was pretty good.
Harris is attached to the second season of the show. But it's possible that the show may write out his character, Everett McKinney, if Harris remains dissatisfied. In particular, he was angry the show cut out the moment his character sang a song.
"So there's this scene in there ... I'm talking to [Beth Dutton] at the bar, and [Rip Wheeler] comes in and says, 'OK, Everett, come on, it's your turn," Harris said. "I walk up to the mic, and they cut it. They cut the song out. I'm going, 'F--k you, people.'"
He said that the moment left him feeling that was "enough reason to say I'm voiding my contract." Whether he will follow through on that threat remains to be seen.
