Dustin Lynch joined YouTube comedian turned CMT star Ed Bassmaster for a prank on an unsuspecting saleswoman in a Nashville boot shop.
Last summer, the "Mind Reader" singer acted as Ed's personal translator as they attempted to buy a pair of boots from a store right in the heart of Music City. As Ed took on the persona of Mumbles," a "Cajun guy with an accent that is completely unintelligible," the retail worker struggled to try and understand the pair's various requests.
After a few minutes, the pair revealed that it was all actually part of a hidden-camera segment to be featured in Bassmaster's new CMT series, The Ed Bassmaster Show. According to NASH Country Weekly, Lynch had a great time having some harmless fun with the popular prankster.
"[It was] one of the funniest days of my life," he said. "Come buy some boots in Nashville, folks!"
Major shout out to the pranked saleswoman, who managed to laugh it all off while keeping her cool much better than I ever could have. You can see the full segment, along with many more pranks and laughs when The Ed Bassmaster Show premieres April 14 at 10 p.m. ET on CMT.
