Duck Dynasty Patriarch Phil Robertson Has a New Show

Phil Robertson of the popular A&E show Duck Dynasty is now getting his own show where he plans to hold nothing back.

Robertson's new show will be called In the Woods with Phil, and it has been picked up by CRTV.

"Join Phil Robertson like you've never seen him before. No middlemen, no PC police — just truth, from Phil's mouth to your screen," an ad for the show says.

In the video ad for the new show, Robertson assures audiences there will be no "pontificated crap" on his new show, but there aren't many other details available about the show.

Phil Robertson grew up in a rugged environment in rural Louisiana without electricity or plumbing. We can assume the show will reflect that aspect of his life and personality to some extent.

Robertson has been very vocal about his faith and his issues with the Duck Dynasty show in the past. Producers temporarily banned him from the show in 2013 because of controversial comments he made to GQ Magazine.

Robertson is the father of Jase and Willie Robertson who were prominent characters on Duck Dynasty, and he's the inventor of the duck calls that the show gets its name from.
