If you're anything like me, you're a bit of a backseat watcher. It's always fun not being the one in the hot seat—you get to feel quite smug with yourself, pointing out little mistakes and thinking how you'd be so much better.
And you might even find yourself saying to the TV, or in the crowd, "Just do this! Just do that!" But of course, you wouldn't ever dream of genuinely saying that... right?
Well, whether you do or you don't is none of my business. But actually doing it is a whole other level of hilarity.
But that's what one drunk fan did recently at the Naval Base Coronado. And, according to Whiskey Riff, whatever he was saying wasn't even intelligible anyway.
NASCAR was in town for a special street race on the 3.4-mile course in San Diego. And a massive wreck from Anthony Alfredo caused some pretty serious damage, leading to an extended red flag.
Whether this fan was trying to give advice or was just tired of waiting, we've got no idea. But in any case, he just went and hopped the fence and went to talk to none other than #00 Sheldon Creed.

The NASCAR Driver Had No Idea What He Said
Cameras zoomed in to capture the wild incident as it unfolded. The fan leaned up to the window to chat to Creed. He even gave him a fist bump before hopping back over the fence.
It's lucky things were nice and friendly, to be honest. Creed, to give him credit, was really cordial about the whole thing. He even had a nice laugh with his radio crew about what happened.
He did say he had to keep up appearances, though. "I think he's wasted," he mused. "I didn't even understand what he was saying. "I just let the officials know we do have no part of this guy."
I'm going to be real, if I did that while drunk, I wouldn't be able to show my face in public for weeks! I guess it's a pretty cool party story to tell down the line, at least.
