Dumb and Dumber, the classic comedy film, shouldn't have to be shown as a public safety video, but it may have to be. Every year I read about someone being dared to lick something metal and frozen, and having their tongue stuck to it until someone turns up with a flask of hot coffee.

Yet again, another man has decided to stick his tongue on something frozen and realized that it's impossible to take it off. In Sydney Pitt St Mall the video shows the young man securely glued to a frozen promotional billboard. Licking a public, frozen, ice sculpture is so feral. How thirsty was the poor man?
The video on Reddit shows the man, firmly frozen by his tongue. It's not just the tip either, he's gone in for a solid lick. Because of this, even the efforts of the incredulous security are fruitless. They're pouring hot water over the man's tongue, but it's way too frozen on there. Thankfully, being Australian, the security, audience, and fastened man all find it hilarious.
No Sympathy For Man With Frozen Tongue
Unsurprisingly, there is little pity for him and his predicament. If you're dumb enough to get yourself into that situation, you should be able to get yourself out. One commenter loves the whole look of the situation, saying "OMG he's got the dumb and dumber haircut and everything." If this was a PR stunt, he's nailed it.
As another commenter pointed out "Those signs you see where you wonder "Who did that here to warrant a sign being created" This is that who." Anytime you read the 'May Contain Nuts' warning on the side of your cashews, know it's probably this guy who made that necessary.
But it's not all bad news for the frozen tongue billboard licker. The company advertising on the ice sculpture reached out to him. Referencing his clearly thirsty antics, they posted "We never thought we'd have to say this, but don't lick ice sculptures in public, Drink V Refresh instead." Furthermore, they offered him a little gift for his act of public stupidity. "To the Pitt Street licker, drop us a DM @venergyaus. We have a present for you."
