This April, take part in a holey festival filled with all the doughnuts you can handle. On Sunday, April 19 between 1 to 5 p.m. head over to Hi Sign Brewing on Bastrop Highway to fill up on some of the best donuts the city of Austin has to offer. While the Fest has taken place in other cities (Las Vegas, Detroit, Grand Rapids) this is the first time the event is coming to Austin.

According to Donut Fest, attendees are typically given 8-10 donut samples throughout the event. Each sample can range from 1/4 of a donut to a full donut, so make sure you come hungry. The festival will have non-alcoholic drinks as well as drink tickets for attendees 21 and up.
There are two tickets available on Eventbrite; General admission and VIP tickets. General admission is $15 and includes donut samples, 1 beer ticket, a voting ballot to name Best Donut, non-alcoholic drink samples, a donut eating contest, and an opportunity to purchase from participating vendors. The VIP ticket price is $30 and includes early entry into the festival, an additional beer ticket, a goodie bag, a raffle ticket, and prize giveaways along with everything included in the general admission ticket.
The Austin donut vendors have not been announced yet but knowing that Austin has a ton of amazing donut shops (Voodoo, Gourdough's, Little Lucy's, Bougies Donuts) makes it that much more exciting to find out which purveyors will be handing out samples.
If you are feeling like a VIP, act fast because there are only a limited number of tickets available for the event. The early bird entry (2 hours before everyone else!) is worth it in itself.
