Guy Fieri's Donkey Sauce

The infamous donkey sauce recipe is straight-up just aioli. In an interview with Thrillist, Guy said, "If we called it aioli, does that make it sexier? In reality, a simple aioli masquerading as a different kind of sauce just plays into the chef's marketing genius. If it were just aioli, Fieri reasons, no one would care. "Donkey Sauce, on the other hand, makes a lasting impression."

The recipe is simple, straightforward, and a great condiment to compliment your cookout food, whether it's burgers or hot dogs. The prep time and total time to make this recipe is a whopping 5 minutes. Leave it to Guy to create a delicious recipe in no time.

To make the sauce, you'll need: minced roasted garlic, 1 cup mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, brown mustard, kosher salt, and ground black pepper. You'll combine 1/3 cup roasted garlic, mayo, a few dashes Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon mustard, salt and pepper. Stir everything together until the mixture is smooth. If you're not a fan of brown mustard, you can easily substitute yellow mustard for a similar flavor.

Pro Tip: If you're making the roasted garlic yourself, cook the garlic in a pan with olive oil over low heat. You'll want to avoid burning the garlic, since burned garlic has an especially foul taste. If you want to make this even easier, purchase already roasted garlic from the store.

Many folks enjoy burger sauce as a dip for fries, so feel free to cook up some crispy fries and dip to your heart's desire.
