Following the death of Country music icon Dolly Parton, the battle for her lucrative estate is heating up. And a major shake-up has already been made.

Dolly Parton's Nephew Fired Weeks After Her Passing
Parton's Nephew, Bryan Seaver, who also served as the head of her security team for more than two decades, has been fired. According to a Monday (September 21) report from TMZ, Seaver received the notice last Wednesday (September 16). The outlets obtained the termination letter that was sent to Seaver. It notified him that he and his security companies have been "immediately dismissed" from all of Parton's properties.
The outlet also noted that the move is part of an "escalating war" over her estate. And it doesn't look like the war will be ending any time soon.
Parton's nephew and his team are now calling out her longtime business manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank. In a statement to TMZ, Seaver and his team say that they are "dismayed by the unexpected and so far unexplained actions" in the weeks following his aunt's death.
"We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family. And we refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much," the statement adds.
Seaver was the person who was personally chosen by the country music star to announce her death back in August.
Parton passed away at 80 years old after a brief battle with cancer.
According to Forbes, Parton had a net worth of $450 million at the time of her death in August. She also had a catalog of more than 3,000 songs, which included smash hits like Jolene and I Will Always Love You.
