Imagine walking around Dollywood one day, anxiously waiting to see it after hearing so much about it, and then suddenly turning right and seeing the queen herself, Dolly Parton, and country superstar Willie Nelson. Yes, the iconic duo was seen spending the day at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee riding around the park in a golf cart together. You know, just a regular day.
The hilarious video was captured by a lucky fan on TikTok where both were seen waving to the crowd as they made their way around the theme park. The country stars are at the park together to film for an upcoming movie set to air on NBC. Pardon was also at Dollywood to introduce Big Bear Mountain, which is a 4000 ft long roller coaster that will be coming to the park in 2023. That's where Parton also revealed several details surrounding her Christmas special.

"Some of you may have heard we're doing a special for NBC and we're doing it all from Dollywood and we're starting on Monday and it's kind of like a movie like a show sort of speak cause it's really a special with special guests like Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Miley Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, Billy Ray Cyrus. We've got several great guests, like my family's going to be singing," Parton stated.
She also went on to tell fans what they can expect from the upcoming film, which is set to be a hit. "We're going to do all that, but it's kind of like we're going behind the scenes and making a movie with actors and all the things that go on trying to put a show together. So we thought people love to see that anyways, so you'll get to see what it's like to build a show. All the drama and all the things that can go wrong and they will go wrong. Anyhow, that's going to be shown on NBC sometime before Christmas," she added.
The holiday special, dubbed Dolly Parton's Mountain Magic Christmas will be a movie musical that will tell us the backstage story of making a successful Network TV special. According to an NBC synopsis, " this sentimental holiday movie takes viewers on a journey through time as Parton is visited by the Three Wise Men. The entertainer is taught valuable lessons, ultimately challenging her notions of the real magic of Christmas."
This isn't the first collaboration that Parton and NBC collaborate together. Back in 2015, the country singer signed to develop several TV movies for the network, which are based on some of her well-known songs and life. She went on to release successful films including fan favorites, Coat of Many Colors and Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love. The new holiday film has not received a release date as of yet.
