Dolly Parton had a heart of gold. That was known even before her tragic passing, but now she's gone, more and more people are honoring her by sharing stories about her and her actions.
And one of those people is her longtime friend and collaborator, Reba McEntire. They were known for several duets together, and also starred alongside each other in Reba's show, Reba.
And, per People, she recently recalled one time that Dolly did something sweet that she didn't even know about. And when I say sweet, I mean it literally!
The heartwarming story came when Dolly Parton was there at the set of Reba in 2005 to film an episode. It was around Valentine's Day, so, out of a gesture of goodwill (which Dolly had endless of!), she gave the entire crew a candy heart.
And, in classic Dolly fashion, she kept that quiet. So quiet, that Reba only ever ended up finding out when a camera operator told her. "I didn't even know that story... but that's the type of person she was."
"I never have met a person that says, 'I don't like Dolly Parton.' Everybody loves her worldwide and was touched by her passing." Ain't that the truth!

Other Country Stars Also Recently Recalled Heartwarming Dolly Parton Stories
Of course, everyone was touched by her passing - especially those who were lucky enough to know the Queen of Country personally. So, as her passing continues to leave a Dolly-sized hole in everyone's hearts, other country stars have also been in the business of recalling stories about her.
And one of those involved her and her husband, Carl Dean - he liked to stay in the "shadows", but loved to help her out. Brad Paisley recently recalled how Dolly was there helping him record "When I Get Where I'm Going".
"She was in here a while," he recalled. "We walked around and talked in the house and had a great day. And she went out to get in the car, and I see him waving. He didn't even come in! He was just so happy to drive her around. And she got in the car, and she drove away."
