Now the "Jolene" singer has a product to help your blood start pumping and deal with "all the takin' and no givin'" at work: Cup of Ambition coffee.
Dolly Parton Now Has a Coffee Brand
Parton, who died on Aug. 25, became more than just a singer. She became a brand, putting her name on wine, makeup, and even pet products. Creating a line of coffee had been a dream of hers for over four decades.
"I thought the Cup of Ambition would be a fantastic name for a coffee brand, and I've been working towards this for over 40 years," Parton said back in June. "This is just one of those dreams that's taken a little longer than I thought it might, but we've got it, and it's working. I can't wait for you to try it. But I couldn't be more happy with it. Community Coffee has been a fantastic partner for me, and I like the way they think."
The coffee, a collaboration with Community Coffee, debuted at her Tennessean Travel Stop back in July. Now it's available online through the product's website and online retailers. Java fans can pick from the brand's Light, Medium, and Dark Roast varieties as well as K-Cup pods and ground coffee.
Proceeds from the sales of Cup of Ambition support Parton's Imagination Library. Community Coffee will serve as the anchor funding partner for Lafayette Parish in Louisiana.
Parton Filmed a Commercial for the Brand
Back in July, Parton filmed three commercials for Cup of Ambition. To celebrate World Coffee Day, the first spot was released today, Sep. 29.
And for those in Tennessee who need a pick-me-up, the Cup of Ambition Tour is launching today. Fans can visit The Dolly Coffee Trolley for a sample. Who knows? Maybe it'll help bring you closer to that promotion you've been working toward.
