Texans will have the chance to be up close and personal with Dolly Parton when she brings her Pure & Simple tour to Austin's Frank Erwin Center on Dec. 6.
The 70-year-old country legend is currently on her largest tour in 25 years in support of upcoming her double album, Pure & Simple. The record, which is expected to be released later this year, will feature brand new material alongside rerecordings of Parton's biggest career hits.
"We're so excited to get out there and see the fans again. I'm really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off Pure & Simple," Parton said in a press release.
Parton says the concert will feature a simple, "stripped-down" accompaniment and will focus on the stories behind the songs. Over 60 tour dates have been announced so far, but her new stop in Austin is her only concert scheduled in Texas for 2016.
If you want to be one of the lucky few who get to see Parton in person, you can snag tickets beginning at noon CDT on Friday, June 24 through TexasBoxOffice.com.
