Dolly Parton has shared her take on the Christmas classic "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus," the latest release from her forthcoming Christmas album A Holly Dolly Christmas (out on October 2nd.)
"I always loved the song #ISawMommyKissingSantaClaus growing up and I knew I needed to record a version for #AHollyDollyChristmas. Parton wrote on social media. "I'm excited to share some of the joy of my own childhood with everybody through this song."

A Holly Dolly Christmas is Parton's first holiday album in 30 years and features duets with Billy Ray Cyrus, goddaughter Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Parton's brother Randy Parton and Michael Bublé. The album includes five original tracks self-written by Parton and one song co-written with Kent Wells.
I figured since everybody probably wouldn't get to celebrate Christmas as usual this year, I wanted to be creative instead of sitting around at the house this summer," Parton said in a statement. "So I put on my mask, gloves and practiced social distancing, as well as all of the wonderful musicians and singers, and we proceeded to put together what I think is some of the best work that I've ever done."
The country legend previously released "Mary Did You Know."
Parton has also released a new line of holiday apparrel, featuring "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" shirts, "A Holly Dolly Christmas" sweatshirts and more.
The singer recently earned her first No. 1 on the Christian charts with the Zach Williams collaboration "There Was Jesus."
