Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, and Linda Ronstadt struck country gold with their 1987 album Trio.

The record sold over 4 million copies and garnered the angelic-voiced group two Grammy awards. Now, the country legends are back with The Complete Trio Collection, a reissue of the original album and 1999's Trio II. The set also feature20 tracks of previously unreleased material and alternate versions of Trio classics.

The Complete Trio Collection is set for release on Sept. 9, but you can get a sneak peek of what's to come with the new lyric video for the Parton-penned "Wildflowers."

The previously unheard alternate version features Parton sharing verses with her songbird partners.

The longtime friends have frequently collaborated together and recorded covers of each other's songs. Harris included Parton's "To Daddy" on her 1978 album, Quarter Moon in a Ten Cent Town, while Parton recorded Harris' "Boulder to Birmingham" for her 1976 album, All I Can Do. Ronstadt recorded Parton's smash hit "I Will Always Love You" for 1975's Prisoner in Disguise.

This new collection is a fitting tribute to the women's continuing friendship, iconic harmonies and appreciation for one another's talent.

Along with The Complete Trio Collection, Parton, Harris and Ronstadt will release My Dear Companion: Selections from the Trio Collection, which features tracks from all three albums on Sept. 9.
