Disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs just suffered yet another major loss in court. The latest loss won't add any jail time to his current sentence. But it will subtract a significant amount of money from his wallet.

Per a Tuesday (October 6) report from TMZ, the Bad Boy Records founder has to fork over nearly half a million dollars to NBCUniversal. To cover the television giant's legal fees that they accrued after he brought legal action against them in 2025.
Diddy Ordered to Pay NBC Thousands After Failed Lawsuit
Per the outlet, Combs will cover approximately $477,700.50 in legal fees. It's still a large amount but significantly less than the $990,292 initially requested. Which would have covered the entirety of their legal fees.
Combs' rep, Juda Engelmayer, told the outlet the judge found NBC's initial request to be "excessive and unreasonable." And sliced it nearly in half.
"Ironically, the arguments challenging those excessive legal bills were made by the same firm that recently withdrew from representing Sean. Amid its own billing dispute with him," Engelmayer said.
NBC released a documentary about Combs, titled Making of A Bad Boy. The doc delves into the past behaviour of the Bad Boy Records founder, which ultimately led to his arrest in 2024.
However, Diddy filed a $100 million lawsuit against the network, accusing them of defamation. The true crime doc references several longstanding conspiracy theories. These include his alleged connection to the death of his children's mother, Kim Porter. His former boss Andre Harrell, and rap superstars Heavy D and the Notorious B.I.G., which he claimed were not true.
The Bad Boy Records founder faced life in prison on racketeering and trafficking charges in 2024. He was able to evade the more serious charges. Still, he was hit with a 50-month Prison sentence as a result of his conviction. He has since made multiple attempts to be released from jail.
Diddy comes home in early 2028.
