Dierks Bentley Shows off His Hockey Skills at NHL All-Star Game

Some of Nashville's biggest stars headed downtown over the weekend to take part in the NHL All-Star Game. The event gave Dierks Bentley the opportunity to surprise fans with his impressive hockey skills during the game at Bridgestone Arena on Sunday night.

This year marked the first time the annual event was held in the Music City. A week of celebrations and events led up to the game, including a free concert outside of the arena headlined by Bentley.

The country star was also selected as a celebrity coach for the competition, alongside Vince Gill, Charles Kelley and Chris Young. Unlike his colleagues, Bentley has racked up a lot of experience playing hockey over the years. When it came time for the breakaway competition during the game, he seized his chance to show off a little in front of the crowd.

Bentley and Nashville Predators player James Neal raced onto the ice and barreled towards New Jersey Devils goaltender Cory Schneider. It only took a few seconds for Dierks to make his way down the ice and slide the puck past Schneider for a goal. Is there anything he can't do?
