Listen to Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne's 'Burning Man'

As the fifth song Dierks Bentley has released off of his upcoming June 8th record, The Mountain, "Burning Man" employs the musical help of tourmates Brothers Osborne to express to listeners that Bentley is still his fun, old self, but with a new depth.

The Mountain, inspired by time spent in the beautiful Colorado landscape, has already proved to be a much more introspective record for Bentley with songs like "Woman, Amen," "Living," "You Can't Bring Me Down," and "The Mountain," and "Burning Man" is no exception. Recalling the free-spirited California festival, "Burning Man" lyrically tells listeners that Bentley is balancing bits of order and chaos, struggles and triumphs, and nonconformity and assimilation.

"I felt an immediate connection to the lyrics," Bentley told People. "The idea that we all are a little bit of everything... a little bit holy water and a little bit burning man... really resonated with me."

A preview for the upcoming music video has also been released, showing the use of the continued concept of pairing inspirational stories from fans with Bentley's performance.

Lyrics to "Burning Man":

Half your life you struggle
Half your life you fly
Half your life makin' trouble
Half your life makin' it right
One day I'm the exception
Most days I'm just like most
Some days I'm headed in the right direction
And some days I ain't even close

I'm a little bit steady but still a little bit rollin' stone
I'm a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh and bone
Little found, little don't know where I am
I'm a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man

Yeah I always love the highway
I just don't run it as fast
I still go wherever the wind blows me
But I always find my way back
And I still don't get it right sometimes
And I just don't it as wrong
I still go a little bit crazy sometimes, yeah
But now I don't stay here as long

I'm a little bit steady but still little bit rollin' stone
I'm a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh and bone
Little found, little don't know where I am
I'm a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man
Still just a burn, burn, burning man
Just a burning man

Maybe I'll go to the desert
Find myself in the Joshua Trees
If we pass in the night then just hand me a lighter
Tell me you burn just like me

I'm a little bit steady but still little bit rollin' stone
I'm a little bit heaven but still a little bit flesh and bone
Little found, little don't know where I am
I'm a little bit holy water but still a little bit burning man
Burning man
Still just a burn, burn, burning man
Just a burning man

Burning man
