Country stars are taking to social media as news of pop star Demi Lovato's hospitalization have emerged. According to TMZ, the 25-year-old singer was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home from what appears to be a drug overdose. Lovato's current health status is unknown.
Brad Paisley, who collaborated with Lovato on their 2016 song "Without a Fight," was among the first to comment on the news.
"My friend [Demi Lovato] is one of the kindest, most talented people I've ever met," he wrote in a tweet. "Praying for her right now, addiction is a terrifying disease. There is no one more honest or brave than this woman."
Other country stars who have shared their well wishes for Lovato include Dan + Shay, Chely Wright, Jason Isbell, Maren Morris and Kalie Shorr.
I actually talked about this recently in an interview, but I’ve adored @ddlovato since I was a teenager. Her transparency with her struggles got me through a really dark time and I’ve always been so thankful for that. I’m sending her so much love right now. Heartbroken.

Hoping for healing for @ddlovato and understanding from those who don’t know firsthand what addiction can do. Believe it or not, it could happen to you.

Lovato has been open about her struggles with addiction in the past. Just last month, she released the song "Sober," in which Lovato revealed that she had relapsed after six years of sobriety.
