In most cases, couples don't want any uninvited guests at their wedding. But one pair of newlyweds were willing to make an exception during their Florida ceremony earlier this month.

This uninvited guest wasn't the uncle who drinks a tad too much or the frat bro still chasing his college popularity. This uninvited guest was a stray deer who made its way to the altar.

Key Deer Crashes Florida Wedding Ceremony

Estella Kirk and Gavin Guthrie pronounced their nuptials in a quaint ceremony at Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys on August 1. But they were surprised when a key deer named Rosy appeared to grow impatient waiting for the cocktail hour. She began to munch on the floral arrangements in the middle of the ceremony.

"At first, we had no idea what was going on because we were so focused on each other and the ceremony," the bride said to PEOPLE. "Apparently, Rosy the deer had made herself very comfortable and was absolutely going to town on our flower arrangements!"

If you know anything about weddings, you know that flowers are one of the most expensive accessories in the ceremony. So you might have expected the newlyweds to be upset about the deer feasting on the pricey floral arrangement. But according to Estella and Gavin, they weren't upset at all. In fact, it made for a pretty lighthearted moment during the ceremony.

"Rosy had decided our floral arrangements were the perfect wedding buffet, and she wanted to skip the ceremony and go straight to the wedding dinner!" the bride said.

She also added:

"Once we realized what everyone was laughing about, we couldn't help but laugh too. Our guests were trying their best to stay focused on the ceremony while watching Rosy eat her way through what were, unfortunately, some very expensive wedding flowers."

Rosy's show-stopping act didn't stop at the wedding ceremony. She was also a part of the bridal photos.

"She ended up staying until our very last picture, just as it started raining!"

In the end, Rosy's appearance made for a pretty sweet moment.
