Deep-Fried, Bacon-Wrapped Candy Bars Are a Thing

Screengrab via YouTube

This is not a drill. We repeat, this is not a drill. There is actually a recipe out there for deep-fried, bacon-wrapped candy bars. We're not quite sure if this would actually taste good or not, but we're willing to give anything with the words "candy," "fried" and "bacon" a shot.

YouTube recipe account COOK WITH MEAT created and recorded the recipe. For the video, they chose to use a Mars Bar (terrible choice by the way). The steps to making this are quite simple -- basically wrap the candy bar in raw bacon slices, batter them and fry them.

Video advice: Hit mute before watching pressing play so you can be spared from their awful and uncomfortable song choice. You're welcome.

For the batter, they whisk flour, egg and water together until it's smooth. Then, they completely coat the bacon-wrapped candy bars in the batter before dropping them into a boiling pot of oil. Fry them until they're crisp, and voilà, you're done.

Now all you have to do is admire your work and chow down... and then maybe feel really sick afterwards because you just ate a chocolate candy bar that was wrapped in bacon and then deep fried.

Check out the video's comment section, where users have given tons of advice on how to make the recipe even more delicious.
