Working with children takes a phenomenal amount of patience, and certainly isn't for everyone. A daycare worker has been highly criticized as footage leaks showing her losing her cool in a classroom and slamming a toddler into a chair.

The woman was captured on a phone camera by a teaching assistant in the classroom. She is clearly at the end of her tether and losing control of her temper. The teaching assistant secretly films the stressed woman.
Footage shows the daycare worker screaming around the classroom at the unruly classroom, eventually grabbing one toddler and slamming them into a chair. She has been pushed beyond her capacity and lashed out at the child.
Since then, the daycare worker has been fired for her manhandling of the toddler. It was clear that she wasn't in a state capable of maintaining the cool she needed for the job. "I don't care! Sit down, no! You are not listening, you're taking a break," she yells at the small child.
When the toddler looks across at the teaching assistant, the daycare worker shuts him down. "Don't look at her like she's gonna help you!" she shouts.
Daycare Worker Fired, And TA Quits
Since the incident, the daycare employee has lost her job. She clearly wasn't able to maintain the level head that's needed when working with unruly toddlers. The teaching assistant who filmed the whole ordeal has also left her position.
"The environment does not align with what I stand for ethically or morally when it comes to the safety and happiness of the children," she said in a post. According to her statement, this wasn't the first time it had happened either.
"The children experienced several verbal outbursts using derogatory language, physical abuse, being snatched by the arm and slammed in chairs. I recorded this behavior and at times intervened," she revealed.
She has since moved on to find a daycare that has a little more patience for a naughty toddler or two. The TA who filed the event has expressed her opinion that the daycare should be shut down.
