'Fixer Upper' Star, Dubbed 'Waco's Most Eligible Bachelor,' is off the Market

Sorry ladies, but just like an amazing home on HGTV's Fixer UpperDavid Ridley is off the market.

The 38-year-old bachelor was dubbed "Waco's Most Eligible Bachelor" by Chip Gaines after he starred in an episode of the popular TV show. In the episode featuring Ridley, the Gaines renovated his 1969 ranch-style home.

After Ridley's episode of Fixer Upper aired, he garnered a social media following of over 8,000 people. His handsome face and bachelor status thrust him into the spotlight. "Everyone wanted to set me up with someone," Ridley told KWTX.

He was adamant about finding the right partner until a friend let it slip she knew the perfect woman for Ridley.

The friend encouraged Ridley to meet up with her lifelong friend from Alabama. Rachel Rich, soon to be Rachel Ridley, is a 34-year-old teacher who had never even seen Ridley's Fixer Upper episode.

After posting a celebratory picture to his Instagram, Ridley confessed he lost followers due to his engagement. His response is swoon-worthy.

"I lost a lot of followers. And I'm totally good with that."

Thanks to the man with model looks, the episode generated some of the best TV ratings in HGTV's history, according to KWTX. Not to mention it was the most watched episode of Fixer Upper.

The happy couple tied the knot in Birmingham on July 1, 2017. Ridley told KWTX that it was a great day.

"The wedding was a blast. It was fun and extremely special to have so many of our closest friends and family with us as we made this commitment to the Lord and each other."

The couple lives in Waco where Ridley runs his "Waco Tours" operation that takes people around the local hot spots (including the Silos). Before Ridley moved to Waco, Texas, he spent time in New York City as a model for Abercrombie and Ralph Lauren. His charming face even landed him a gig beside the gorgeous Kate Moss in Vogue magazine.
