Video Premiere: Dale Watson's Ode to Southern Highways, 'Tupelo, Mississippi & a '57 Fairlane'

Dale Watson recorded the majority of  his newly released album Call Me Lucky at the historic Sam Phillips Recording Studio in Memphis, Tennessee and his latest video is a love letter to the city of Memphis itself.

"Tupelo, Mississippi & a 57 Fairlane," which Wide Open Country is premiering today, was shot on location in Memphis and features Watson and his girlfriend, rockabilly singer Celine Lee, cruising the streets in Watson's vintage Fairlane.
Watson says the video captures what he loves about his adopted city and even features some of his favorite landmarks.
"Making the video felt like I was sharing with everyone the soulfulness and the excitement I feel about Memphis," Watson tells Wide Open Country. "It's just a snapshot of the moment in my life when I bought an old car in Tupelo and how good it felt to drive it to my house in Memphis. Keep your eyes peeled and you'll see a lot of my favorite landmarks along the way."
