Bryce Sherring was recently proposed to by her boyfriend, Dawson Leedahl, with an engagement ring handmade by her father, also named Bryce Sherring. The unique 18-karat white and yellow gold ring is everything she could dream of; she'd been hoping for years that her goldsmith dad would make the special ring for her.

It seems her boyfriend knew about this, and made it happen.

The daughter shared a video of her dad making the ring to her TikTok, recorded by a fellow coworker. Her and her dad also spoke to PEOPLE about the special moment in more detail.

"My dad has been a goldsmith for over 40 years and this is him making my engagement ring," she captioned the TikTok video. "No words to describe how special this is."

The ring is truly beautiful. It has a Canadian diamond and an unusual shape, making for something truly magnificent.

Daughter Shares The Moment She Was Proposed To With The Special Ring

The ring had taken a month to craft, and the father kept it a secret from even his wife. Bryce finished the ring on February 9, just in time for a family vacation to Arizona.

Only a couple of days into their vacation, the boyfriend proposed, with the daughter's parents there to witness the special moment.

"Dawson has been pretending to propose to me for the past couple of months. So, when it actually happened, I was in shock," Bryce shared.

"We just went horseback riding. It's a beautiful location, and it was sunset and everything. So, when he was doing it, I thought, 'Okay, you're really going to pull this now? That's so annoying.' I thought he was just pretending. And then he had tears in his eyes, pulled out the ring, and I was like, 'Oh my God.'"

"I went through a whirlwind of emotions, and I haven't even been able to stop looking at the ring since," she added. "It's so beautiful, unique and perfect for me. I love it so much."

The video of making the ring has almost reached 4 million views, and everyone in the comments is in love with the ring. A reaction Bryce apparently wasn't totally expecting.

The video is wonderful, the ring beautiful, and the story heart-warming. What more can you want on a Thursday morning?
