Any parent knows the frustration of technology. In this modern day and age, it can be an extremely useful tool.
But it can also prove to be quite frustrating, with kids using it like it's an extension of their arm. And some parents think that it contributes to bad behavior.
One dad shared online that he had had enough of his son "disrespecting" him and his mother. As reported by Dexerto, it all started with a simple car ride.
He shared the wild story on social media. Joel Barbour explained that his son, Davis, had started being disrespectful during a car ride.
Barbour explained that he'd warned Davis that his Nintendo Switch would be going out of the window if he kept up with his disrespect.
In what I'd consider a pretty good lesson of "don't call other people's bluffs", Barbour actually did it. "I threw my son's Nintendo Switch out the car, going 60 miles an hour down a highway," he explained.

He Enjoyed Throwing the Nintendo Console
"He wasn't even playing the Switch," he recalled. "I was like, 'Keep going, I'm gonna throw your Switch out the window.'... I frisbeed this thing."
He admitted it "felt pretty great". But he also felt a little bit remorseful because of his son's love for the console. He had started crying and complaining about the price of the Nintendo product. "The look on his face, he couldn't even believe it."
An update video showed that Davis had learned his lesson. "You definitely don't disrespect your parents or else things get frisbeed in places that you don't want them," he lamented.
In what is good news for both Davis and the Barbour's bank accounts, the Switch ended up being repairable. Of course, given it had experienced the 60mph-frisbee treatment, it needed a little TLC, but it all worked out in the end.
In a pretty hilarious parenting advice move, he exclaimed - "Throw the electronics out the window."
While I personally think that might not be the best financial decision in the world, maybe kids having less access to tech might be a better idea than opting to use a Nintendo Switch as a physical toy rather than a digital one.
To each their own!
