In a revealing new interview, Crystal Gayle talks about the rumors of an ongoing feud between her and her famous sister Loretta Lynn.
During her discussion with Dan Rather for The Big Interview, Gayle discussed the rumors of their rivalry as she burst to stardom in the 1970s. Although magazines were quick to report that the two were competing for the limelight, Gayle says that simply wasn't true.
"Of course, we're sisters. We can bicker... but we really didn't have a problem," she tells Rather. "You know, I look up to my sister," Gayle reveals. "We both have flaws in different ways, but we're not gonna tell what they are, you know? But, I mean, we love each other."

Best known for her 1977 crossover hit "Don't It Make My Brown Eyes Blue," Gayle collected 20 No. 1 hits through the 1970s and 80s.
Gayle still tours frequently, and currently has dates scheduled through Oct., including an appearance with Lynn at her Hurricane Mills, Tenn. ranch. You can find a full list of upcoming concerts here.
