Gannon Jacox, 29, and his girlfriend Brooklyn Hicks, 28, were arrested on Saturday evening at Port Canaveral, around 40 miles from Orlando International Airport.
Authorities allege that Jacox and Hicks forced their way into the family's cabin. This was after one of the occupants asked them to quiet down.
Police claim the confrontation then turned violent, with the couple allegedly attacking members of the family, including a nine-year-old child.
Cruise Ship Pair Arrested After Alleged Cabin Attack
The Brevard County Sheriff's Office detailed the bizarre incident in a lengthy social media post titled "The Chronicles of Cruising".
"Gannon Jacox, and his girlfriend Brooklyn Hicks, were apparently arguing loudly after taking advantage of some adult beverages, when one of the victims asked them to quiet down," the statement by Sheriff Wayne Ivey read.
"Hicks apparently didn't like the request so she decided to go confront them. Jacox then decides it's a great idea to walk over with his cell phone and start recording the incident as he tells Hicks to beat them up!!"
"The suspects then pushed their way into the victims room, which included a 9 year old child that was inside the room!!"
The sheriff's office alleged that Jacox struck three people inside the cabin, including the child. While Hicks was "just swinging, hoping one would land".
Jacox suffered an injury to his eye during the confrontation. Authorities said it remains unclear whether one of the victims caused the injury or it came from Hicks' "swinging".
Couple Held on Thousands of Dollars in Bonds
Authorities noted that none of the alleged victims suffered serious injuries during the confrontation.
Police charged Jacox with Burglary With A Battery and Child Abuse Without Great Bodily Harm.
Meanwhile, Hicks faces charges of Burglary With Battery and Battery-Touch/Strike.
"Hopefully they enjoy their extended stay at their unplanned destination with close quarter sleeping arrangements, communal showers, no drink packages and of course no excursions!!," the police post continued.
"Of course on a bright note they will have sandals but not like the Sandals Resorts just the ones you wear in the shower!!"
The statement concluded, "You know the deal folks, break the law in Brevard County and I promise you the lodge will have a reservation with your name on it!!"
Jacox is currently being held on a $31,000 bond, while authorities set Hicks' bond at $6,000.
