Three years after country singer Craig Morgan lost his 19-year-old son in a drowning accident, he wrote a song about his grief, pain and his faith, called “The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost.” He performed it on the Grand Ole Opry and sent a recorded version to his friend and fellow Opry member Blake Shelton. Shelton started an impromptu social media campaign to promote the song, which caused a widespread response of fans reaching out to Morgan. (Photo by Al Wagner/Invision/AP, File)

Craig Morgan to Star in Reality Series 'Craig's World'

Country star Craig Morgan's latest TV show Craig's World debuts Thurs., March 5th on the Circle Network. Per a press release, the series, produced by Nashville-based Heart Bridge Media, "follows Craig at home and on the road as he and his tight-knit family navigate triumphs and challenges while developing businesses, writing hit songs and balancing a country music career."

Morgan's 10-episode series will air every Thursday at 8 p.m. EST through May 7. It's the latest original, country-themed reality show debuting on the network that's slated to air such programs as Backstage at the Opry and Upstream with Elizabeth Cook.

It's Morgan's third television series. The long-running Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors was followed by Morgan Family Strong, a show about the Morgan family's grieving over the death of teenage son Jerry.

"We do our normal stuff. We don't create stuff. There's no drama — if there is, it's real life and is really happening," says Morgan in a press release (as quoted by Rolling Stone Country). "Like dealing with the loss of our son and the pain we may be feeling that day. Or having a band member quit and having to replace them. Or teaching my grandson to ride a motorcycle."

The singer of "Redneck Yacht Club," "That's What I Love About Sunday" and other memorable singles' debut on a new country music network shouldn't be the only news to drop in 2020. Expect to hear more this year about a new album on Broken Bow Records which will feature Morgan's spiritual ballad ""The Father, My Son, and The Holy Ghost."
