According to the police, the uncle of Alianna Farfan, the suspect's ex-girlfriend who was murdered, said it was "worth every moment" after the attack. Oritz stood before a judge after being accused of shooting the 20-year-old woman in her bedroom a year ago.

Murder Vicitm's Uncle Triggers Chaotic Courtroom Brawl

Sometime during the hearing, Farfan's uncle Carlos Lucero leaped over the gallery wall and ran after Oritz. KOAT News managed to acquire the footage showing the 40-year-old uncle pinning down the suspect and throwing punches his way.

Security attempted to get the uncle off of Oritz until another man from the gallery, Pete Ysasi, also helped Lucero in the fight. The messy brawl continues as other people join the fight, some attempting to break it up and others wanting to keep it going.

Eventually, Joeray Oritz, the suspect's father, entered the fight and started attacking the uncle. The scrimmage only managed to diffuse after one of the security guards pulled out a taser. We're unsure if he managed to use it on any of the men, but they backed away soon after.

It's no surprise that something this chaotic happened to Oritz after looking at his record. The suspect faces additional charges of murdering a separate woman just a week after Farfan's death last January. The accusations for Farfan's death also include reports of Oritz being abusive to her.

After the fight, Oritz left with some cuts on his face. Otherwise, the cops charged Lucero and 51-year-old Ysasi with assault and battery of a peace officer. Not only did they assault the suspect, but the officer trying to shield Oritz from the attack as well.

Lucero later admitted to the police that he had no regrets for his actions. He also said Oritz "killed my niece like a coward," proving how much he must have cared for Farfan.

CEO of Second Judicial District Court, Katina Watson, revealed that this hasn't been the only violent incident. She also gave praises to the officer "who was caught in the middle of this and he did everything he could to ensure the safety of everyone."
