These Country Stars Got Married or Engaged in 2022

2022 was a big year for country artists — in terms of music and love lives. The year saw many sweet engagements and joyous weddings from some of country music's biggest artists and rising stars. Many of country music's top artists are open when it comes to their personal lives, so fans were able to share in many of these special moments. Here's a roundup country artists who got married or engaged over the course of the year.

Meghan Linsey and Tyler Cain

Meghan Linsey and Tyler Cain were one of the first country music weddings of the year. The couple stole away to Maui, Hawaii, where they eloped at Ironwoods Beach in Lahaina on Jan. 16. According to People, the couple used a service called Simply Eloped to plan the wedding within a week. Linsey wore a Olia Zavozina gown for the occasion and a ukulele player performed a song Cain wrote called, "Has Anybody Ever Told You."

Parker McCollum and Hallie Ray

Parker McCollum married his longtime love Hallie Ray Light in a ceremony at Boxwood Manor in Tomball, Texas, on March 28. The couple announced their engagement on July 1, 2021 with a joyous photo featuring the caption, "She said yes!"

Brooke Eden and Hilary Hoover

Brooke Eden and girlfriend Hilary Hoover announced their engagement in May of 2021, and in 2022, they celebrated their marriage with two ceremonies. The couple first married on Aug. 27 in Nashville, Tennessee, in a service that was officiated by Trisha Yearwood. Garth Brooks was also in attendance, as well as the couple's families. The two then traveled to Playa del Carmen, Mexico on Oct. 27 for a beach ceremony with more guests in attendance.

Renee Blair and Jordan Schmidt

Nashville singer-songwriters Renee Blair and Jordan Schmidt tied the knot at Oakley Hall at Riverview in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sept. 24. The two announced their engagement in September 2021. The couple had a beautiful wedding day, but Blair, unfortunately, broke her foot in the weeks leading up to the big day. Due to this, she added an extra accessory — and rhinestoned cane — to her wedding attire.

Hailey Whitters and Jake Gear

Country singer Hailey Whitters married her longtime boyfriend Jake Gear on Oct. 1 after dating for more than 10 years. Whitters told People the two tied the knot at a "quaint country church" in her hometown of Shueyville, Iowa. They hosted a reception at her father's farm. The wedding was complete with a barbecue dinner, pies and wine. Whitters said she ended the night "with a keg stand" in her wedding dress.

Dillon Carmichael and Shayla Whitson

Dillon Carmichael and Shayla Whitson were married Oct. 1 at Castle & Key Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. The two met in 2017 after Carmichael played a show at the Austin City Saloon in Lexington, Kentucky, and he says they "got along so well from day one." The singer proposed to Whitson in a romantic fashion in February 2021.

Emily Weisband and Dylan Toscano

Nashville songwriter Emily Weisband married medical sales rep Dylan Toscano on Oct. 1 in a ceremony that took place at Southern Trace Farms in Franklin, Tennessee. The outdoor wedding was attended by artists such as Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild, Lady A's Hillary Scott and more. Fellow country singer RaeLynn served as a bridesmaid. Emily and Dylan became engaged in October 2021.

Lauren Jenkins and Patrick Davis

Lauren Jenkins and longtime partner Patrick Davis were married on Oct. 15 at Lookout Mountain in Georgia. The singer managed to walk down the aisle — in heels — to her groom after undergoing hip replacement surgery in early 2022. The singer wore a long white gown for the ceremony and changed into a sparkly, short dress for the reception.

Chase Bryant and Selena Weber

Country singer Chase Bryant found his forever when he married model and entrepreneur Selena Weber on Oct. 22. The two were married on top of a hill overlooking the Texas Hill Country in Round Mountain, Texas. The two got engaged in October 2021 on Bryant's 28th birthday, and he told People that popping the question didn't come as a surprise to Weber. "She's way too intuitive. I can't keep a secret from her. We tell each other everything," he said.

Mitchell Tenpenny and Meghan Patrick

Mitchell Tenpenny married fellow singer Meghan Patrick at a ceremony in Goodlettsville, Tenn., on Oct. 23. The couple chose to get married on a friend's farm, and the outdoor autumn affair featured many special moments. Patrick wore a white gown with lace on the special day, and Tenpenny was outfitted in a green jacket and white cowboy hat. Tenpenny and Patrick became engaged in November 2021 when Tenpenny proposed at the bar where they first met.

Kylie Morgan and Jay Allen

Another country music wedding that took place in 2022 was that of Kylie Morgan and Jay Allen. The two singer-songwriters became engaged in June 2021, and they were originally set to wed in Florida on Oct. 1. But they were forced to postpone their nuptials due to Hurricane Ian making an impact in the state. The wedding did eventually happen on Nov. 27, but as the couple humorously revealed later, they forgot to obtain a marriage license before the ceremony. They eventually got the license and made the marriage official not long after the ceremony.

HARDY and Caleigh Ryan

In one of the most recent country music celeb weddings, HARDY married his longtime girlfriend Caleigh Ryan. The nuptials took place at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville, Tennessee on Sat., Oct. 29. The bride wore a custom-designed dress and changed into a shorter look to keep the party going on Broadway. The wedding also featured a tattoo station, and fellow singer Lauren Alaina (who is now engaged) caught the bouquet!

Country Stars Who Became Engaged in 2022

Kassi Ashton and boyfriend Jeffrey Myatt got engaged in March 2022 in Key West, Florida. Ashton's fiancé pulled off a romantic proposal that occurred on a pier on the island, where they first met. He gifted Ashton what she calls her "dream ring," which she designed in an attempt to cross "gothic old world with soft romantic." Ashton and Myatt haven't tied the knot yet, but their nuptials are sure to be beautiful.

Adam Doleac and MacKinnon Morrissey

Another country couple heading down the aisle soon is singer Adam Doleac and fiancée MacKinnon Morrissey. Doleac proposed to Morrissey in February 2022 at the historic Franklin Theater in downtown Franklin, Tennessee. According to People, Morrissey was under the impression that she was going to see the movie The Parent Trap with her friends and that Doleac was unavailable for the night. When she walked in, however, she saw the singer down on one knee.

Billy Ray Cyrus and Firerose

Following news of his divorce from wife Tish Cyrus in April 2022, Billy Ray Cyrus began dating Australian-born singer, Firerose. The two sparked relationship rumors when they began appearing in photos together on social media, and in November, he confirmed his engagement to the 34-year-old via People.

Lauren Alaina and Cameron Arnold

Lauren Alaina is one of the latest country stars to become engaged in 2022. The singer announced her soon-to-be marriage to fiancé Cameron Arnold during a performance at the Grand Ole Opry on Nov. 19. Midway through her set, Alaina suddenly showed her engagement ring to the crowd, revealing that she's engaged, and she brought her fiancé out to meet the crowd as well.
