Everyone has that one thing that helps keep them grounded. And it can be one of many, many things. There are just some things that calm you down, make you feel good no matter how bad your day's been.
And for country star Riley Green, that's his Alabama farm. Of course, given he's a country superstar who spends almost every waking moment on the road, he's had to have family help him. But, either way, per Whiskey Riff, he explained it's certainly something worth "bragging about".
He was asked about the thing he'd "brag about" on a date by Kelleigh Bannen recently. And his farm was the exact answer. "My farm, probably," was his answer. "I've got a great place down in Alabama, and when I find myself on the road, that's what I'm thinking about."
I think that's a sentiment that a lot of people agree with. At least, after a long day, I'm thinking about going home, too! "I'm thinking about what I can, when I get back there," he explained.
"My sisters are sending me pictures of their kids swimming in the lake or fishing or whatever," the country star continued. While we don't exactly know a lot of the finer details about the place, the way he's describing it... it sounds amazing!

Riley Green even referred to his Alabama farm as "his sanity." That's how much it means to him!
And, just in case you're wondering, it has nothing to do with the price of the place itself. It's more that he values the serenity of it all - and especially how much blood, sweat, and tears he's poured into it.
"It's not necessarily a purchase as much as just what I've done to the place. I love to show somebody before and after pictures," he added. "You know, we dug a lake out there, and this is what it looked like before that." I bet that transformation must be a sight to behold!
It's really heartwarming to see how family-centered Riley Green is, even as he's been catapulted into stardom. What a way to keep yourself grounded!
