Riley Green has revealed how he handles the high volume of underwear he receives when its thrown on stage during his shows

Being a music star comes with a lot of unusual experiences. For Riley Green, one of the more unexpected twists in recent years has been the sheer volume of underwear that gets thrown on stage during a performance. From bras and panties to the occasional pair of granny pants, Riley has seen it all.

Of course, with such a high volume of under garments being laid at his feet, Riley's been forced to figure out a disposal system. During a recent conversation on Audacy's Katie & Company, Riley detailed how he and his team have approached handling the masses of underwear he encounters.

"We were putting them in a big bin, and we were gonna donate them to wherever you donate bras to, I guess," he said. "Because what I learned, there was there was like people commenting saying that they were really expensive. I didn't know that."

As he continued, Riley urged his fans not to throw anything on stage, and to avoid getting into physical altercations with each other.

"I don't want anybody to throw anything onstage," he continued. "No. Don't throw anything... no fights. Yeah, I've seen a lot of extensions go missing. And then they go to put them back in, they've got the wrong girl's hair when they're putting it back in. It's a whole thing... we don't have a lot of fights."

Riley Green Was Previously Hurt by a Phone Being Thrown on Stage

Unfortunately for Riley, underwear being thrown on stage is the least of his problems. During a recent show in Melbourne, Australia, he was injured when a fan throw an iPhone at him.

"5 stitches later... sewed up," he wrote on his Instagram story after the incident.

Credit to Riley, though, because when the incident occured he managed to keep his cool. The country star simply instructed security to remove the fan from the crowd.

"This one right here? Get his fat a** out of here," Riley said. "Go on."

Riley then made light of the situation.

"I'd like to take a moment while I've got everybody's attention to thank each and every one of you for coming out tonight," he said. "Hang on, am I bleeding? Y'all see how tough I am? Thank god he didn't have an iPhone 12, that would have really hurt."

Hopefully, Riley's decision to donate all the underwear he comes by will help those in need. After all, underwear can be pricey these days.
