Country singer Charley Crockett is well known for being a powerhouse of production. Since 2024, he's released 5 albums, and been touring throughout.
His current tour, the Age of Ram tour, has consisted of 49 shows since April - and it's running all the way till October. The craziest part about his shows has been the sheer number of openers.
Of course, why wouldn't he? The country scene is a very diverse place, full of amazing budding artists. Some of the coolest artists he's had on so far are as follows:
Kashus Culpepper; Sierra Hull; Lee Fields; Honky Tonkin' Queens; and Pony Bradshaw just to name a few. But one of the other bands he bought on brought a bit of an unexpected issue to the table.
As reported by Whiskey Riff, the band is called "Twin Temple". Innocuous enough in itself, right? Well, unless you have hindsight, I suppose...
And you can't deny that they aren't satanic either. I mean, let's take a look at some of their top songs.
Firstly, we have "Let's Have A Satanic O***". Yes, really. With lyrics such as "Take a ride on my broom / We're naked under the moon", I'm not sure it would have fit with the country star's key audience.
Another one is "Lucifer, My Love". Similarly to the first one, the lyrics are... questionable. They read, "Lucifer, my love / The candles are burnin' bright / Give me a little death / Take me as human sacrifice"

The Satanic Band Announced the Country Star Dropped Them
Twin Temple announced their unfortunate news on social media.
Their statement reads, "Today we were informed that Charley Crockett has decided to remove Twin Temple from his upcoming shows next week due to our Satanic imagery."
"Unfortunately, that means we will not be able to perform for you next week as planned. We are really disappointed as we were looking forward to getting back out and seeing you, and also what it means as far as bringing different types of people and music lovers together."
Their statement ended in a defiant statement. "We're grateful for your support, not only of Twin Temple, but more importantly of artistic freedom. HAIL SATAN! 93/93"
