The 66-year-old announced he was rescheduling shows after being hospitalized. Things apparently got so bad that Foster ended up in the ICU.
"We're sorry to announce that the Radney Foster/Kelly Willis shows this weekend are being rescheduled," the statement reads on his Instagram account. "Radney is recovering from a serious infection that required hospitalization. While he is improving and has been released from the ICU, his doctors have advised him to take time away from the road to focus on his health."
Fortunately, it appears the country star will recover from his illness. But he needs some time off from performing.

"We know this is disappointing news, and this decision was not made lightly," the statement continued. "Please contact the venues for information on the rescheduled dates. Thank you for your understanding, your patience, and your support as Radney continues to recover."
Far from being angry, fans quickly offered their support.
"Take good care of yourself, Radney! We need you, Dude!" one wrote. Meanwhile, another wrote, "Sending all the healing vibes and prayers your way. Take care and get well soon."
Yet another fan wrote, "Oh my goodness, please take the time you need to recover fully! I hope you feel better quickly!"
And another wrote, "Oh dear Lord. So sorry to hear this. Many prayers your way, Radney. God bless you and your family."
The country star has been performing since the 1980s, first gaining popularity as part of Foster & Lloyd. However, he has been performing solo since the 1990s and also acted as a songwriter for several of the industry's biggest names.
We're hoping that he has a speedy recovery and gets the rest and recovery that he needs. If you did purchase a ticket for one of the canceled shows, then follow the appropriate instructions. With some rest and recovery, the country star will be back performing in no time.
