3 Country Star Cookbooks For the Holiday Season

The holiday season is officially here, which means more time entertaining and — if you're the family's resident chef — more time in the kitchen. But it's easy to find yourself uninspired with the same old dishes. Thankfully, some of your favorite country stars have released cookbooks inspired by their own family favorites.  Here are three country star cookbooks to get you through the holiday season.

"Martina's Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life" by Martina McBride

For the better part of three decades, Martina McBride has been known as one of country music's best voices. But beyond that, she's also a skilled chef. This year, the country queen launched her new Food Network show, "Martina's Table," and released her latest cookbook "Martina's Kitchen Mix: My Recipe Playlist for Real Life," the follow up to her 2014 cookbook "Around the Table."

The book focuses on McBride's personal favorite recipes, so look for some good old fashioned home cooking inspired by McBride's upbringing on a Kansas farm.

"When I find a delicious recipe I can't wait to share it, just like when I find a great song", McBride said in a press release. "So I'm excited to share what I am cooking right now in my own kitchen for my family and friends. These are some of my very favorite recipes I've created since the last book, as well as some family recipes that have been handed down to me."

Amazon user Pamela says "Overall, this is a very pretty, colorful, and inspiring cookbook by a country singer. As the weather cools down and I spend more time in the kitchen, I'll be leafing through this book for inspiration."

"Trisha's Table: My Feel-Good Favorites For a Balanced Life" by Trisha Yearwood

Another country icon turned culinary star, Trisha Yearwood released her cookbook "Trisha's Table: My Feel-Good Favorites For a Balanced Life" in 2015.

Amazon user Abbey says "I love this cookbook so much. I only recently got into cooking and the recipes it has are easy to follow and delicious. Trisha is such an authentic person and that trait is so evident with this cookbook, and the recipes it contains. I want a Trisha's Table Vol 2!"
