If Chris Young wasn't scared of flying before, he could be forgiven if he is now. The country singer endured a terrifying moment while flying into Nashville over the weekend. He was making the trip to visit his dad for Father's Day.

Unfortunately, the plane that Chris was on suffered a technical malfunction, making the landing somewhat risky and undoubtedly scary. Chris shared his experience in an Instagram post.
"Flying in to Nashville to see my Dad for Father's Day," his post said. "Brake failure on the plane. Luckily had some amazing pilots. Ended up landing safely. Thank you, Lord, the fire department, and the men up front."
It's worth noting that Chris didn't go into any further detail regarding the experience. However, if the plane's brakes failed, it's fair to assume the pilots conducted an emergency landing. Fortunately, Chris never mentioned any injuries, so hopefully everyone on the flight was physically okay.
Mentally, though, it's likely people were a little shook up. After all, flying can be a scary experience at the best of times. Having something go wrong while in the air is literally most people's worst fears when it comes to traveling by plane.
Fans Reacted to Chris Young's Post
Shortly after Chris' post on Instagram, his fans started to flood the comments section with well wishes.
"Thank God your safe," one user wrote.
Another user followed suit, sharing a similar message, "Thank God you were all safe and He brought you all home safely."
Other members of Chris' fanbase shared in his faith, crediting his guardian angels for how smoothly the incident went.
"I'm so glad that you are safe! You had guardian angels with you and the good Lord from up above!!!!" the user wrote.
"My God, what a stressful moment it must have been," a fan chimed in. "God was there to watch over you. You must be extremely grateful for those people who knew how to keep their cool to allow an outcome happy."
Chris will undoubtedly be hoping that his return flight goes far smoother than his one into Nashville. That's assuming that he's still choosing to fly following the incident, of course.
