But you can't keep a musician down for long. The country singer is already planning a song inspired by his brush with death.

On Facebook, he wrote, "Okay....wait for it, but from my recent posts, I decided to start writing a song called "Thingy Thing" and I'm having a blast writing it at almost 11pm. I may have something to tease a lot sooner then later to share ?, but this is going to be fun. There will be no mention of catheter though if you know what I'm referring to."

Yee previously revealed that he was hospitalized after developing a bleeding issue. He began suffering gastrointestinal issues that got worse.

Country Singer Inspired to Write

"I want to share something that happened with my health over the past few weeks that became a lot more serious, and honestly, life-threatening, this past weekend,"

he wrote on Facebook. "I won't get too deep into the medical details because, honestly, some of it still sounds like something I'd hear on an episode of Grey's Anatomy and pretend I understood."

He said that he thought he was fine but things developed into a serious issue.

"Nothing that seemed like a huge deal," he wrote. "Then about a week ago, things took a pretty dramatic turn. I started losing roughly 3-4 ounces of blood every evening when I went to the bathroom. And because apparently I enjoy making questionable decisions, I initially thought, 'Well, it stops afterward, so I'm probably fine.' Spoiler alert: I was not fine."

Doctors rushed the country singer to emergency surgery to correct several internal tears. Fortunately, he's home now and seems to be doing better. Sounds like he is even inspired by the whole incident.

"If your body is giving you a warning sign that something isn't right, get it checked out," he also added. "Don't assume it's nothing just because you don't feel that bad. I was fortunate that I eventually went to the ER when I did. Looking back at how much blood I had lost and how quickly things progressed, I realize now how serious this actually was and how much worse the outcome could have been. I was told this was a life threatening situation."
